Between August and October 2026 we added ten new courses to the AI Academy and refreshed one of our foundation courses. The new material concentrates on how people actually work with AI: checking its output, sharing work with it, running agents, keeping costs predictable and governing AI use across an organization. It also extends our tool-specific coverage of Claude and ChatGPT. Every course is accredited for CPD and CPE credits and sits in the AI Fundamentals subject.
AI Academy
Working with AI
Evaluating AI (1 hour, Beginner, 1 CPD credit). Fluent writing is no longer evidence that content is correct. This course builds the judgment to decide whether an AI output can be trusted, covering practical verification habits, the failure patterns that recur across AI tools and automation bias, the tendency to accept confident output without checking it.
Collaborating with AI (1 hour, Beginner, 1 CPD credit). Moves from single prompts to managing a complete piece of work with AI. Learners practice dividing the work between person and tool, reviewing what comes back and keeping judgment where it belongs, following one realistic task from brief to finished result.
Working Smarter with AI (1 hour, Beginner, 1 CPD credit). Focuses on individual ownership: auditing your own recurring work, redesigning a workflow around AI and building the habits and measures that keep the new way of working in place.
Building an Agentic Workforce (1 hour, Intermediate, 1 CPD credit). Explains how agentic working differs from prompting. It covers the parallel loops run by an agent and the person supervising it, how an agent’s memory and tools set the limits of what it can be trusted to do, and how to verify results at scale.
Understanding Tokens and AI Costs (1 hour, Intermediate, 1 CPD credit). Sets out what organizations are paying for when they use AI: how tokens are counted, what drives the cost of a request, where hidden costs build up in a conversation and how to keep usage predictable without losing quality.
AI governance
AI Governance, Risk and Compliance (1 hour, Beginner, 1 CPD credit). Walks through the governance lifecycle, from building an AI register and classifying systems by risk to policy design, human oversight, monitoring and audit evidence, including how the EU AI Act is implemented in practice. It pairs well with our EU AI Act training.
Claude and ChatGPT
Claude: Long Contexts and Documents (30 minutes, Intermediate, 0.5 CPD credits). Shows how to work through long documents with Claude without losing accuracy, using a scope, task and format framework for document prompts, synthesis across several documents and a clear view of when Claude is the wrong tool for the job.
Claude: Artifacts, Projects, and Skills (30 minutes, Intermediate, 0.5 CPD credits). Moves teams from one-off prompts to reusable set-ups: generating and refining artifacts, using Projects with standing instructions and reference files, connecting a Project to a live source and creating Skills for recurring work.
Claude Cowork (30 minutes, Beginner, 0.5 CPD credits). Covers using Claude to carry out file and task work across a whole project rather than a single conversation, including how to configure a session, extend it with files, connectors and scheduled tasks, and use it responsibly. These three courses sit alongside our Claude training for business.
ChatGPT: Interface and Core Features (20 minutes, Beginner, 0.3 CPD credits). A short orientation to the ChatGPT interface, its model choices and the core features professionals use day to day. It is the first of three courses in a new ChatGPT collection and complements our ChatGPT training for business.
Refreshed
Principles of Artificial Intelligence (1 hour, Beginner, 1 CPD credit) has been refreshed. It gives professionals a grounding in how AI works, how large language models produce their output and where the technology’s strengths and limits lie, without requiring any code.
Putting the courses to work
Like the rest of the library, the new courses can be combined with the AI Academy persona pathways or arranged into custom learning paths for specific roles, rather than run as stand-alone modules. If you would like to see how they could fit a program for your teams, book a demo with our team.
